So-called "Maxwell's Demond" has been kicked around in physics, philosophy, engineering and pop literature for years. Yet, I have been unable to find any poet who is reckless en0ough to tackle with that elusive demon, although some fiction writers have been chasing that demon. Here is an over-view article.

The fundamental problem is that one is tempted to prove that the second law of thermodynamics is false by assuming that it is true - a conventional method of asiomatic proof. As Russell says, there is no logical way of defining logic.
"Greenhouse Effect" is a consequence of the civilization based on technology of entropy. And search for "alternative energy" is in itself entropical. In terms of economics, consumption is entropical. The gate-keeper of that consumption is a Maxwell's Demon.
